MEMBERSHIP TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. Introduction
These Terms & Conditions (“T&Cs”) govern the membership agreement between you (“the Member”) and the Romanian Business Club (“the Club”, “we”, “us”, “our”). By applying for and maintaining membership, you agree to be bound by these terms.

2. Membership Eligibility
• Membership is open to entrepreneurs, professionals, and businesses operating or interested in the UK market.
• The Club reserves the right to approve, decline, or revoke membership at its sole discretion.

3. Membership Categories & Fees
• The Club offers multiple membership tiers (e.g., Standard, Premium), each with specific benefits as outlined on our website or promotional materials.
• Membership fees are paid via monthly direct debit, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
• All payments are processed through secure third-party providers (e.g., Stripe).
• Membership will automatically renew each month unless cancelled in accordance with Section 7.

4. Member Benefits
Membership entitles you to a variety of benefits tailored to your tier, including:
• Invitations to business networking events, expert workshops, and leadership briefings.
• Access to member-exclusive platforms, communications, and promotional channels.
• Opportunities to showcase your business and engage with a purpose-driven community.
Please note:
• Some events may have limited capacity, and attendance is granted on a first-come,  firstserved or invite-only basis.
• Additional fees may apply for premium experiences, such as private dinners, VIP receptions, and exclusive institutional events.

5. Code of Conduct
Members agree to:
• Act with professionalism, respect, and integrity within all Club settings.
• Maintain confidentiality during private or sensitive discussions.
• Avoid unsolicited self-promotion or commercial solicitation unless specifically invited.
The Club reserves the right to suspend or revoke membership for misconduct.

6. Events & Participation
• Members are encouraged to actively participate in events and programs.
• Attendance at some events may be subject to capacity limits or advance registration requirements.
• Participation in exclusive or premium events may incur additional charges, even for Premium Members.
• The Club is not liable for personal injury, loss, or damages at any Club-affiliated event.

7. Cancellations & Notice Period
• Members may cancel their membership by written notice to the Club.
• A minimum notice period of three (3) months applies, during which membership fees remain payable.
• Access to member benefits continues until the end of the notice period.
• Refunds are not provided for partial months, unused benefits, or early withdrawal.

8. Data Protection, Media, & Privacy
• All personal data is handled in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and our Privacy Policy.
• Members may be listed in online or printed directories unless they opt out in writing.
• By attending Club events, members consent to being photographed or filmed, and for such content to be used on Club social media, marketing materials, or promotional campaigns.

9. Limitation of Liability
• The Club is not responsible for business decisions, outcomes, or losses resulting from advice, referrals, or events.
• The Club is not liable for the quality or delivery of third-party services accessed through membership.

10. Amendments
The Club may amend these Terms & Conditions. Significant changes will be communicated via email or posted notice at least 14 days in advance.

11. Governing Law
These T&Cs are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be resolved under the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

12. Non-Discrimination Policy
The Romanian Business Club is committed to fostering an inclusive, respectful, and professional environment.
We do not tolerate discrimination or harassment based on race, ethnicity, gender, age, disability, religion, sexual orientation, nationality, or any other protected characteristic.
Violations may result in suspension or termination of membership.

13. Termination of Membership
• The Club reserves the right to suspend or terminate a membership at any time, with immediate effect, in the case of:
o Violation of the Code of Conduct or these T&Cs
o Behaviour that brings the Club into disrepute
o Non-payment of membership fees after reasonable notice
o Breach of applicable laws or regulations
• In such cases, the member will be notified in writing, and no refunds will be issued for any remaining term.
• The Club may also terminate membership if it discontinues the membership programme
or dissolves the Club, with reasonable notice provided.
• Members may also terminate voluntarily in accordance with Section 7.
